How payment works on cotriven.shop, and how we keep it safe.
Ways to pay
The payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) processed by Stripe, and PayPal where it is offered at checkout. Depending on your country and device, Stripe may also offer wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Currency
You pay in the currency shown next to the prices — USD, EUR, GBP, DKK, SEK, NOK or CAD, based on your delivery country. You can change your country from the region button at the top of every page. If your card is in a different currency, your bank converts the amount and may charge a fee.
When you are charged
We take payment when you place your order. If an order is cancelled before dispatch, or if we cannot fulfil it, we refund the full amount to your original payment method.
What you will see on your statement
The charge appears as COTRIVEN. If you don’t recognise a charge, email support@cotriven.shop before contacting your bank and we will look into it straight away.
Security
- The entire site is served over HTTPS (TLS encryption).
- Card details are entered into secure fields provided by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor, and go directly to Stripe. PayPal payments are completed with PayPal. Card numbers never pass through or get stored on our servers.
- Payments may require Strong Customer Authentication (3-D Secure) from your bank, such as a confirmation in your banking app.
- We use automated fraud screening provided by our payment processors and may contact you to verify an order.
Refunds
Refunds are made to the original payment method, in the currency you paid, as described in our Returns & Refunds policy.
